It Really is the Greatest

Standard

I could listen to Donovan Leitch’s greatest hits over and over. In fact. I do. I have the album downloaded on my computer and listen all the time as I work. I love him so much, I even used him as inspiration for the heroine’s father in SOLO HONEYMOON, my debut novel written under my pen name.

I’m so glad Donovan finally got his due and was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. He’e been around for a long time and served as inspiration for many newer musicians who were inducted before him.

PUBLISHING GOALS

I’m proud that my second novel (under my pseudonym) was published in February and that the third will be out in July this year. I’m also proud that I’ve also recently finished the first drafts on two mysteries.

I hope that two other novels I have out on submission get accepted and published soon. My other goal is to polish the two manuscripts I recently finished and submit them.

My Greatest Accomplishment of 2010

Standard

My accomplishment: I sold three novels to two different publishers under my pseudonym. I had already sold quite a few short stories but selling the novels was BIG for me. I had validation that I can write. Someone besides my family and friends liked my work. That was a big deal to me. One of the books is already out and the other two will be out by July 2011- one releases in April and one in July.

Solo Honeymoon

Standard

Just wanted to share this:

Cover blurb:

Emma Chauncey finds her fiancé naked with one of her bridesmaids on top of him three days before her wedding. Burned by the experience, she takes a friend on her honeymoon. They travel to an Italian villa where Emma plans to nurse her broken heart.

Wealthy, titled, and handsome women’s shoe designer Dario de Luca is also at the villa. In disguise as a dance instructor, he’s determined to find a woman to love him for himself, not his wealth and title. Sparks fly between Emma and Dario, until she learns his true identity. Hurt that another man has lied to her, and distrusting her own judgment, she flees. Dario follows her to New York. But Emma’s former fiancé is back with an agenda of his own. Can Dario convince Emma he’s the man for her even though he lied about his identity? Can he convince her she deserves true love?
