FACEBOOK? Is it Taking the Place of Real Faces?
Facebook has really affected families, I believe- both in a good way and a bad way. I know I’m more up to date on my far flung relatives than I ever have been. It’s nice to be able to jot them a quick note and see what’s up with them and their kids.
The downside, I think, is I sometimes see people who are either in the same house or across the street from each other posting to each other’s wall. That seems inane and isolating- Are we not talking to each other in real life in the same house or town?
Ramblings of a Writer 
First, let me say—I love that picture, very cool!! And on the topic, I so agree.. I use Facebook to connect with my friends, both close and far away. BUT, if you know me well enough, I always have my cell phone with me—it drives me crazy when family or even a close friend or two will leave FB messages for me to call them or whatever… I almost want to delete them!! Facebook is for pictures, funny post and connecting— it’s not meant to be a form of voicemail!!!
Tara- I just knew you would respond to this post – LOL! And yeah, totally agree with you on what the purpose is of Facebook. I love the pic as well, it was chosen by Plinky so I can’t take credit for it.
