Sherry Fowler Chancellor was born in Georgia and moved around as a child until her family settled in Virginia for five years and then to Pensacola, Florida where she attended middle and high school.  As a child, Sherry kept a diary from the time she was in the second grade until she graduated from high school.   She wrote some stories as a child as well, most notably the one where Mr. Pepper married Miss Salt and went on to medical school  and became Dr. Pepper.   When she was leaving for college, she decided to burn all her diaries and journals in case they fell into the wrong hands (already a big imagination, there).  She regrets that fire to this day.

Sherry attended college at Troy State University and got her Bachelor's Degree in just two short years and then went on to Law School at Cumberland School of Law, having the distinction of being the youngest student to attend there since reconstruction.    At age 23, she became a lawyer and began to work in that field.  She did not pick up a pen for fun for many years.   She did continue to make up stories about people she would meet.   She and her sister would spin tales of people they would see in hotel lobbies and other places.

Once her children were older and after a gift of a fresh journal for Christmas one year, the monster was unleashed and Sherry began to write for fun again.  Her writing has helped her through some rough times in the past and she is thrilled to reignite the passion.

Three novellas came together very quickly and the short stories began to flow.   She is on a quest to get that breakthrough novel published but even if that never happens, she will continue to write for fun even if it is only to amuse herself and her friends.
